ABOUT ME
BASED IN BROOKLYN, NY.
Natalie was born and raised in Miami, FL and is a first generation Cuban American. After receiving her BFA in Acting from Florida State University she moved up to New York City to pursue dreams of creating a career in the theatre.
In 2016, Natalie made her Broadway debut as part of the original Broadway company of ON YOUR FEET! in the role of the dance captain/ swing. She worked with Tony award winner Sergio Trujillo as an Associate Choreographer to set companies of ON YOUR FEET for the 1st National Tour, Holland and London’s West End.
As a performer, Natalie has been on 1st National Tours (IN THE HEIGHTS, FLASHDANCE!, ON YOUR FEET!) and worked at various regional theaters around the country.
In November 2023, she made her directorial debut with a production of IN THE HEIGHTS at City Springs Theatre in Atlanta. Her own history with the production (she performed in the Ensemble/ covering Nina, Vanessa and Carla in the 1st National Tour) made this feel like coming home. The show played to happy audiences and glowing reviews.
Her continued work as an Associate (director or choreographer) feels like the next chapter of her career thus far. Natalie derives purpose from holding space, supporting the creative team, and encouraging cast members to show up as fully as they can in the room. Her leadership style is grounded, focused, generous and supportive.
She is a yoga instructor working at Y7 Studio in Williamsburg.
